● The class

Six evenings to build confidence on the wheel: cylinders, bowls, trimming and a glaze session.

How the session runs.

Three steps, at your pace. Your tutor stays beside you the whole time.

Step 01

Taller walls

Weeks one and two: we build on your basics and work on even, taller cylinders and steady hands.

Step 02

Bowls, lids and handles

Weeks three to five: bowls, fitted lids and pulled handles, with time to repeat what you love.

Step 03

Glaze night

The last week is for trimming and a long glaze night, then your pieces go into the kiln.

Before you arrive.

Everything for the class is already on the bench. Here is what you will leave with, and the little you need to bring.

What you’ll make

A small set of bowls and cups, trimmed and glazed.
