Throw, trim and handle a set of four mugs you will actually drink from.
£240
per person
● The class
Four evenings at the wheel to throw a matching set of mugs: centre, pull tall walls, trim a foot and pull handles that sit right in the hand.
How the session runs.
Three steps, at your pace. Your tutor stays beside you the whole time.
Step 01
Throw the set
Weigh out even balls of clay and throw four cylinders to the same height and width.
Step 02
Trim and handle
Trim feet when leather-hard, then pull and attach handles that suit your grip.
Step 03
Glaze and fire
Choose a glaze from the studio wall; we fire the set and you collect it two weeks later.
Before you arrive.
Everything for the class is already on the bench. Here is what you will leave with, and the little you need to bring.

I drink my coffee from one of them every morning. Still slightly smug about it.
