OUR APPROACH

How we teach it.

We teach clay the slow way: centring, pulling and trimming until your hands understand the material. Every class ends in the kiln, so what you make here is food-safe and yours to use.

IN THE ROOM

Six Shimpo wheels, two electric kilns, a glaze wall of twelve house glazes and stoneware, porcelain and terracotta clay.

Made in this room.

A few pieces from recent classes. Yours will look different, which is rather the point.

I came in thinking I wasn't creative. By the end I'd made two little cylinders I'm absurdly proud of.
